Auto Response

You use auto response when you want a sender to receive a message from you without any interactive. For instance, you might put a vacation response – “We are not able to answer our e-mail this week. We’ll respond to you next week.”

  • Login to the new webmail by going to with your e-mail address and password
  • Log into your account using your e-mail address and password – if this is the first time you’ve done this, choose “Roundcube”


  • From the top RIGHT, find your email address and click the down arrow next to it to show the drop down menu


  • In the “Auto Responders” box, click the “Add Add Auto Responder” button to setup a new response – if a response is setup already, you’ll see it here and can edit or delete it
  • There are several options in the “Modify/Add Auto Response” box:
    • Character Set: Leave the DEFAULT (utf-8)
    • Interval: Leave BLANK
    • From: If you are letting people know you have a new email address, put that address here
    • Subject: The same as a subject line in an email message
    • Body: This is where you tell the people who get this message what you want them to know
    • Start: Immediately
    • End: Never
  • Press the “Create/Modify” button to create and activate
